The logo for the Institute symbolizes running water out of which
rises body, mind and soul. The significance of water is one of the
oldest and clearest interpretations in the whole field of mythology, so
that the ancient Greeks could say that "the sea is the symbol of
regeneration. From water comes life. All living things rise, like the
sun from water, and sink into it again in evening." Salado Creek, whose
spring-fed waters flow through the heart of our village, affects the
life we live, the birds we see, the fish, the frightening floods and the
calm evenings' reflected sun and moon. It is the ever-flowing water of
